Registration is now open for the DistribuGen Conference and Trade Show for Cogeneration/CHP 2015, to be held April 7-9, 2015. This event occurs when the economics supporting combined heat and power (CHP) development are becoming increasingly attractive and are driving more adopters to seek CHP for both its economic value proposition and for power reliability. Also driving additional CHP deployment are the new clean air rules and related policy initiatives as well as new equipment technology advances and innovative project financing mechanisms.
The conference agenda will focus on CHP and waste heat to power (WHP) best practices and case studies for manufacturing and processing facilities as well as applications in small and medium-sized industrial, commercial and residential operations forecast to be the fastest growing sector of the market. Currently, 82 gigawatts (GW) of installed CHP generation capacity (9 percent of U.S. energy-generation capacity) are in use at more than 4,100 sites across every state in the nation but at least 50 GW, and up to almost 200 GW, of additional potential remain to be tapped. The potential for WHP projects is equally impressive, with more than 11,000 MW available at industrial sites as well as gas compressor stations, landfills and locations where gas flaring is occurring.
This two-day international conference and trade show event which will be held at the Houston Hilton North conveniently located near the Houston International Airport and airport shuttle service to the hotel is provided. The first day ends with a festive welcome reception in the exhibit hall. The second day features a luncheon and multiple breakout sessions offering opportunities for sponsors to present technical information and case studies. New for 2015 will be a pre-tournament golf outing at Tour18 on Tuesday, April 7.
The exhibit hall will showcase over 30 exhibit booths and is the location for all event breaks as well as the opening reception. Conference presenters will include impressive industry leaders discussing CHP deployment, policy initiatives at all levels of government, new equipment and technology advances, project financing, microgrids, micro-CHP, power market dynamics and project implementation challenges and opportunities.

Call for Sponsors, Supporting Organizations, and Exhibitors
Sponsors, supporting organizations and exhibitors are being accepted for the DistribuGen Conference and Trade Show for Cogeneration/CHP 2015 held April 7-8 at the Houston Hilton North.
As the nation's only conference and trade show dedicated to combined heat and power and waste heat to power technologies the event brings business and energy leaders together with industry experts, project developers, equipment suppliers, service providers and end-users to examine these economic and environmentally-sensible energy options.
Taking place when decentralized energy, industrial competitiveness, energy security and reliability, corporate sustainability goals, recent federal initiatives and state policy changes have spurred great interest CHP and WHP, the conference agenda will include a wide range of speakers and topics including: CHP and industrial cogeneration systems, small systems and microgrids, federal policy changes, market perspectives, technologies - turbines, engines, boilers, heat-driven cooling, chilled water storage & ancillary equipment and fuels.
Exhibit Booths cost $1,650.00 and the Exhibit Hall will be location for all event breaks as well as the opening reception. Each booth purchase comes with one full conference registration plus unlimited "Exhibit Only" passes. Call 512-705-9996 to reserve a booth.
